POS Cogs is a Shopify POS UI Extension that does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or merchant data. The app operates entirely within the Shopify POS environment and accesses product cost data directly from your Shopify store through Shopify's authenticated APIs.
The app reads the following data from your Shopify store for display purposes only:
This data is used solely to calculate and display profit margins within the POS interface. No data is stored, logged, or transmitted to any external servers.
POS Cogs does not maintain any database or storage system. All calculations are performed in real-time within the Shopify POS application and are not retained after the session ends.
This app does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services.
All data access is performed through Shopify's secure Direct API, which is authenticated and encrypted by Shopify. We do not implement any custom authentication or data handling mechanisms.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
